Be aware of the threat level

Threats from terrorist action and civil unrest is never far away. Problems can arise with very little warning and cause enormous damge to your business. Details of the current risk level can be found here. Unless your premises and procedures are designed with security risks in mind it is difficult to provide protection for your personnel and assets. LION revolutionises standby power

Developments in Lithium Ion technology and also ultra-capacitors have greatly improved the operational characteristics for standby power arrangements. In the past we have worked with several equipment vendors, such as Schneider Electric (ex-APC) on such solutions. We’ve set up businesses to be protected from long duration regional power outages The lithium batteries have a greater life and power output than with traditional Lead Acid batteries. This opens opportunities for convenient placement within office premises when compared with Lead Acid systems which typically have to be placed in the basement of the building. This in turn can avoid expensive thick low voltage cables running through the building.

The grey plastic pipes contain thousands of optical fibres serving that part of the city, including our clients. The flooding from The burst flooded the basement of the office building occupied by our client and disrupted the power and communications of many surrounding businesses. Fortunately our client had followed our advice on resilience. They were able to continue operating.
